September 30, 2021 was declared Wade Barnes' Day here in Killdeer Public Schools. The teachers and students decorated doors and dressed up in camo to honor the custodian for his many years of committed service to the Killdeer School & Community.
They also invited community members to share stories about Mr. Barnes at a retirement party hosted by the entire school! Cheetos and Fritos (a favorite of Mr. Barnes) was served to everyone in attendance. Pictures are included below.
