On Saturday, October 16th, seven of our elementary music students attended the Surround the State in Song Children's Choral Festival. They spent the day with over 90 students from 11 schools in our area rehearsing music for a concert at the end of the day. The students met during their recess time to learn their music.
Surround the State is sponsored by the ND American Choral Directors Association. Over 550 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students from 65 schools participated in this year's event. It was held simultaneously in 7 different cities around the state.
The students sounded great and had a wonderful time! We are very proud of their hard work!
