Our local HOSA - Future Health Care Professionals chapter organized a PINK OUT Day today to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. They also sold pink bracelets to raise money to donate to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in memory of Naomi Rossow.
Naomi Rossow was a beloved member of the Killdeer community - she was the mother of three Killdeer High School graduates and grandmother of two of our current KPS students. She was also the mother of Ms. Vernlund, our former 5th/6th grade writing teacher. Naomi was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and lost that battle earlier this week.
Our hearts go out to her family and we are humbled to make this $500 donation in her memory as we honor her and contribute to ongoing breast cancer research. #KilldeerCares #KilldeerISCommunity
