Hello parents and guardians:
In the next few days, the BIMAS2 opt-out form will be coming home with your student. If you prefer your student not be included in this universal screening, please sign and send back with your student.
The BIMAS2 is a screener that addresses the whole student, looking at the student’s strengths and areas of concern for social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. The purpose of this screener is to identify and monitor student needs and provide appropriate prevention supports. The survey is filled out by the students’ teacher in the Fall and Spring and the results are kept confidential.
