KHS had their Community Service Day on Wednesday. Students were able to provide various services around the Killdeer community. This opportunity allows our to fulfill a component of Choice Ready and fosters relationships with our students and the community.

The Killdeer Agricultural Education Program was selected as the North Dakota Association of Agricultural Educators' Outstanding Program for 2024!
Award description:
A goal of NAAE is to promote outstanding programs in agricultural education and effectively communicate success stories. The Outstanding Middle/Secondary School Ag Ed Program Award promulgates that goal. Agricultural education programs in middle schools and secondary schools are eligible to participate in this recognition program.
The award application will move on to regional judging that takes place at the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) Region III Conference which this year takes place in Dickinson on June 17th - 19th .

The HOSA State Leadership Conference looked a little different this year. Due to inclement weather conditions the conference was canceled. However, students were still able to compete in their competitive events via online submission and testing. Killdeer had a successful competition with the following results:
