National FFA Gold! Approximately 70,000 students from hundreds of schools from across the United States arrive to compete at the National Level. The competition was in the Meats Division. The expectations and what these students must know to compete is remarkable. The competition is significant and Killdeer was recognized as a National Gold Medal team. We celebrated some special safety patrol members, Reflex math recognition, Red Ribbon week awards, and those that demonstrated self-direction this month. SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) celebrated Red Ribbon Week this week! This year's theme is "Life Is A Puzzle, Solve It Drug Free." SADD students distributed ribbons and bracelets to all students and staff in the district and decorated both school entrances. At the high school, students enjoyed a Red Ribbon Week trivia game and scavenger hunt. Remember the choices you make today shape your tomorrow. Stay proud, stay strong, and stay drug-free!
