Killdeer High School held its Annual Community Service Day on April 26th, 2023. 7th - 12th grade students participated in various projects around our community including yard work, park cleanup, food pantry help, washing windows, trash clean up, and much more. The day was a huge success thanks to our staff and students who know the value of giving back to our community.

The April Pride Assembly was held today. Students from grades K-6 were awarded for showing random acts of kindness throughout the month. Safety Patrol members were also honored. In a world where you can be anything, be kind. ❤️

On April 22nd, 13 students from Killdeer competed at the North Dakota State Science Olympiad competition in Fargo. They competed in 18 events and won 2 medals. Ainsley Hayden and Gracie Doe took 3rd in Anatomy & Physiology and Tate Simmons and Adali Simmons took 1st in Write It, Do It. The day before the competition they visited the MSUM Planetarium and learned about the stars and constellations that appear during each season in the Northern Hemisphere.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported the Family STEAM Night last night to make it such a success!!! $1300 was raised from the silent auction, which will send 5 students to camp invention. The Killdeer HOSA Future Health Professionals chapter attended the State Leadership Conference in Minot this Monday and Tuesday. During the conference students experienced a variety of health-related educational sessions and participated in various competitive events. 11 students qualified for the International Leadership Conference that will be held in Dallas, TX this June. Congratulations to all!
