We had our December Cowboy Pride Assembly today. Congratulations to our December students who exemplified citizenship both in and out of the classroom. We had some special guests today too. Lots of holiday spirit!!

Wrestling season is underway! Tough competition and many rewarding duals. We beat Linton on Criteria and won 37-36 and lost to South Border 63-12. Ben Roundy was a finalist and runner up at the Mandan Tournament.
The wrestlers also made a trip to Rapid City, SD and Bowman, ND. There were multiple placers across the board. Thank you all of our fans, parents, family members, and supporters for following us all over the region!

Mrs. Cook received a Funding the Future grant from Continental Resources for $2,500. The grant will be used for interactive math floor games for the elementary. Congratulations Mrs. Cook.

On Saturday, December 12 the Killdeer robotics team attended a scrimmage in Alexander with 8 other teams. The students had fun and learned a lot about how our robot stacks up with the competition. Their next competition will be the North Dakota West Region Qualifier in Bismarck on January 20th.




The Elementary Science Fair was held today. The students put a great deal of time and effort into their projects. Wonderful job to all!!




Killdeer girls basketball placed 5th in the Roughrider tournament, beating New England in OT. Great job girls!!

Immunization Clinic

Dunn County SROS spent part of the day in Mrs. Schmidt's health class educating 8th grade students on the dangers of driving while under the influence. We are grateful for all of the education and support they provide for our staff and students.




Author, Joelle Bearstail spoke with our elementary students today about the Native American culture.
Sierra Spotted Bear and Jessica White Plume shared their heritage and background with the students, welcoming questions by many. We appreciated the presentation, including the dances.




Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Grade Christmas Concert was fantastic! Mrs. Hager did a phenomenal job with the program. A job well done to Mr. Housel and the Fifth and Sixth Grade band this evening as well. So proud of all the performances. We appreciate the time and dedication to help make these events such a wonderful success.
