SRO Avalos presented to the 8th grade Health class today about the dangers of alcohol use. Students were able to see how a breathalyzer works in a controlled environment and were able to use the fatal vision googles to simulate impairment.







SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) hosted a mock car crash today. Special thanks to all of Dunn County Emergency responders that helped make this event possible and Four Aces Towing for providing vehicles!

Grayson Fettig got to fly yesterday for his Aviation 1 course. Pretty exciting!!



Wednesday, May 1st the KHS SADD chapter will be hosting the Mock Car Crash at 2:45pm in the west parking lot at the High School.
This demonstration will include our area police, fire and ambulance crews.

Mrs. Doe's class has been enjoying some special guests. They did a pottery project with Ms. Amanda and decorated Earth Day cookies with Ms. Shinee.



The track team had another busy week with a few more state qualifying times! Congratulations to our boys 4x400 meter relay, our girls 4x800 meter relay and Abby Hardersen qualified in the open 800. 🧡




KHS had their Community Service Day on Wednesday. Students were able to provide various services around the Killdeer community. This opportunity allows our to fulfill a component of Choice Ready and fosters relationships with our students and the community.
