What a great day at the Killdeer Public School. Laura surprised students and staff with Sophie’s baby goats from the Sadowsky Angus Ranch. Students and teachers learned some great information about how they live, what they eat, and how big they will get. Even Mr. Simmons had fun hanging out with the kids!

Mrs. Sampsel’s 2nd graders worked hard for many weeks to have their writing about arctic animals published in a book. Students had to research, draw, and write an informational piece to share about their animals with their peers. Students enjoyed seeing the finished product and were happy to celebrate being published authors!

Killdeer High school students are having a great week in Washington D.C. They have spent the week engaging with other students from all over the nation, experiencing first hand the many facets of our government. While here, they have engaged in debates, conducted mock congress, created mock bills on hot topics, and gained a greater awareness of our history through workshops conducted at our national memorials.
Thank you to the parents for trusting us with your kids, and thank you to our students for once again representing the Cowboys with pride!
