Mrs. Sampsel’s 2nd graders worked hard for many weeks to have their writing about arctic animals published in a book. Students had to research, draw, and write an informational piece to share about their animals with their peers. Students enjoyed seeing the finished product and were happy to celebrate being published authors!

Killdeer High school students are having a great week in Washington D.C. They have spent the week engaging with other students from all over the nation, experiencing first hand the many facets of our government. While here, they have engaged in debates, conducted mock congress, created mock bills on hot topics, and gained a greater awareness of our history through workshops conducted at our national memorials. Thank you to the parents for trusting us with your kids, and thank you to our students for once again representing the Cowboys with pride!

Miss Vicki recognized safety patrol members at the Cowboy Pride Assembly today. The Little Buddy Foundation, Coach Pruitt, was the recipient for the donation from the Killdeer Safety Patrol. Next week the Little Buddy Foundation will be gifting a $20,000 sports leg to a young boy in Miles City, MT. Later in April, the foundation is gifting another sports leg to a young girl in Iowa. The Foundation was also just approved to help a young girl (6th grader) in Dickinson, get her sport prosthetic in a couple of months. It was a VERY special day to be a Cowboy. 🧡
