Sports are a little easier for twelve-year-old Alivia Zeimer, thanks to a new sports prosthetic from the Little Buddy Foundation. Coach Pruitt's Little Buddy Foundation provides prosthetics for children throughout the United States. Proud of all your efforts to help others in need Coach!
Peter Gross and Hazel Quintus are the AAA Killdeer Safety Patrol Members of the week. They both show the qualities needed to be peer mentors at school. Thank you helping our younger students stay safe at school.

The Killdeer Cowboys Boys team was 4th in the state and Girls were 2nd at State Cross Country.
Boys all state Jekori Dahlen 10th and Nekori Dahlen 19th. Girls all state Summer Olson 4th, Kate Martinez 10th, Addie Miller 11th, and Abby Hardersen 13th. Coach Horgeshimer received Coach of the Year.

Our Cowboy Pride Assembly recognized students that demonstrated the character trait of Self-Direct. Some students who have been working hard on their math fact fluency were recognized and Safety Patrol had some special awards. Congratulations Cowboys! 🧡
Mrs Gartner's 3rd grade won the attendance award for the month of October. 🥳
Ezra Barrows American Legion Post 46 hosted their 2nd annual Ribs for Kids event on September 14, 2024. From this event, money was raised, as well as hygiene products and school supplies donated to Killdeer Public school. The donations will be used to meet the needs of the students as well as needs in classrooms. We are very appreciative of the Ezra Barrows American Legion for their continued support and generosity! Thank you!

The AAA Killdeer Safety Patrol Members for the week are Hope Thomas and Cy Spotted Bear. They are reminding students to dress warm outside with the cooler weather in the morning. Both patrollers are wonderful peer mentors to their younger peers.
