Kenzie Nupen is the AAA Killdeer Safety Patrol Member of the week. Kenzie is braving the cold to help keep her younger peers safe on the playground. She leads by example to be a great mentor with students. Keep up the great work Kenzie.

Another successful weekend for the Killdeer FFA Chapter and Dunn County 4H!
Dunn County Senior 4H Livestock Judging Team: 2nd Place Team
Kacee Wasem: 6th Place Overall
Tessa Dvorak: 7th Place Overall
FFA Livestock Judger: Cassie Bang (Silver Individual)



FFA week ended with the FFA chapter holding a pie the teacher in the face raffle. Students engaged in a rock, paper, scissors game to determine which student would get to pie a teacher in the face. Student, Wyatt LaPierre received the honor and Mr. Leier was the recipient.





Mrs. Simmons class won the trophy for the month of February for having the least absences. Winners of the Elementary Student Council, "Caught Being Kind," are Hadley Buchmann and Annabelle Hafner-Holden.



The Cowboy Pride Assembly celebrated those that demonstrated trustworthiness this month. Congratulations to all recipients. We also cheered on those with Reflex Math fact fluency accomplishments. 🎉

Mrs. Sampsel’s 2nd grade students were happy to get messy during their science experiment.






Fun lessons continue in Mrs. McCormick's science class at the elementary. Luigi the bearded dragon was stolen! Yesterday’s lesson came in handy as each class of junior forensic students processed this crime scene with the help of Officer Rogers from the Killdeer Police Department.





Students learned how to process a crime scene in Mrs. McCormick's class.





Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winners, Samantha Schaper took 2nd place and Ysabella Love took 1st place. They will compete on March 18th in Bismarck. Great job everyone!
