The Cowboys had a successful Homecoming night against the Hazen Bison. Football players in grades 4-6 were also honored to start the game and the Homecoming court was recognized at halftime. Congratulations to Queen Josie Anderson and King Justin Love. 🖤🧡











This week is College and Career week at KPS. Wear a hat for $1 per day to help raise funds for the college and career scholarships that will be drawn at random on Friday for 2 of our seniors.

A special Thank You to the Dunn County Fair Board and High Plains Community Center for donating back to school supplies for KPS students. Such items included pens, erasers, glue sticks, tissues, scissors, rulers, highlighters, notebooks, and so much more!! We appreciate you so much.


Our September Cowboy Pride Assembly was focused on Fairness. Congratulations to those that exemplified fairness at school throughout the month. Seniors presented students with their certificates and gave some Shout-Outs to our staff. It was a great way to start the day. Cowboy Pride 🖤🧡








Congratulations to Mrs. McCormick's 5th grade class on having the least amount of absences during the month of September.


Thank you to the Legion for hosting their First Annual Ribs for Kids Event and raising money for school supplies for our students at Killdeer Public School.


Barry Chalifoux spoke with our High School students and KPS staff today and shared his story of surviving a suicide attempt at a young age. His message was powerful and reminded us all to be more aware of what's going on around us. Never be afraid to ask for help. Thanks for making an impact on us all.
