January Cowboy Pride Assembly celebrated students that showed Responsibility throughout the month. Mrs Sampsel's 2nd grade earned the attendance award for January. On Friday, January 12 the Killdeer HS Robotics team of Taylor Schollmeyer and John Roundy competed in the Western Dakota FTC State Qualifier in Bismarck. They sat in 3rd place after the preliminary rounds with a 4-1 record. This qualified them for the semifinals. However, in the semifinals they went 0-2 and missed qualifying for the state competition on February 3.
