National FFA Gold! Approximately 70,000 students from hundreds of schools from across the United States arrive to compete at the National Level. The competition was in the Meats Division. The expectations and what these students must know to compete is remarkable. The competition is significant and Killdeer was recognized as a National Gold Medal team. Our FFA program, the students and their advisors are amazing. Go Cowboys! Congratulations to: Mr. Leier, Kacee Wasem, Tessa Dvorak, Abigail Hardersen, Clover Norby and Mr. Rick Vannett.

Killdeer Elementary held their October Cowboy Pride assembly today. We celebrated some special safety patrol members, Reflex math recognition, Red Ribbon week awards, and those that demonstrated self-direction this month. Mrs. Huffman's class received the attendance award. Cowboy Pride was BIG today. 🧡

The AAA Killdeer Safety Patrol Members of the week are Liam Weeks and Hazel Eustice. They are working together to ensure the safety of their younger peers on the playground. Both of our patrollers are responsible and great role models. Thank you for all you do for our students.

Ms. Dockter’s 7th Grade Life Science class just wrapped up learning about four different Metabolic Conditions that tied into their Metabolism Unit! Students worked with a partner to create a poster on Diabetes, Asthma, Anemia, or Metabolic Syndrome and then presented them to their class.
