The elementary held their own Homecoming Pep Rally this year! Thank you to the City of Killdeer for supplying each student at KPS with a homecoming shirt this year. They had a blast showing their Cowboy Pride.🧡

We had a great group recognized for their demonstration of Empathy during the month of September. The Homecoming court and Rowdy helped out with the Cowboy Pride assembly. Mrs Aviles's class won the attendance award for the month and we thanked the custodial staff for all their hard work during the elementary renovation. It was a fun way to end the day!
Grace Fritel took 1st today at the end of the year tournament with her teammates from South Heart and Hazen. Killdeers theme was Trolls🧡

Fourth grade took a trip to the Enchanted Highway.
On Friday, the Dunn County Soil Conservation District spoke to 5th and 6th grade about water runoff, pollution, and best practices to manage pollutants.
There will be a bonfire in the KHS west overflow parking lot, directly after the homecoming coronation, on Tuesday evening.

Regional Golf was held Friday in South Heart. Killdeer placed 5th. McKinley Lazerenko took 11th place. Top 10 go to state.
Coach Johnsen was named co-coach of the year. He tied with Kirby Robb from South Heart.
