The Killdeer HOSA Future Health Professionals chapter attended the State Leadership Conference in Minot this Monday and Tuesday. During the conference students experienced a variety of health-related educational sessions and participated in various competitive events. 11 students qualified for the International Leadership Conference that will be held in Dallas, TX this June. Congratulations to all!

Mrs. Sampsel’s Second Graders published their own book! They spent weeks writing personal narratives and illustrating pictures as well! Check out their book at the front office!

The 1st grade classes enjoyed the 5th Grade Science projects and presentations. These projects include aquaponics, gardening, and live working ecosystems in different biomes.

We had a presenter come into foods class today. Ashley Carlson is a local cookie baker/decorator that came in and showed the kids how to decorate cookies. The kids got to decorate their own cookies using many different techniques. What a great experience!




The 5th Grade class engaged in a learning trip to Dickinson for the Water Festival and ended their trip with a tour of the Dunn County Courthouse.











Mrs. Moore's 1st grade class enjoyed the 5th and 6th Grade Science projects and presentations. These projects include aquaponics, gardening, and live working ecosystems in different biomes. Students of all grades will be enjoying these projects throughout the week.
